Oil Jointing

Is a standard vegetable fibre gasket paper suitable for water pump gaskets and other applications.

CNAF (non-graphite)

Compressed non-Asbestos Fibre Materials with silica or Kevlar or other aramid fibres in matrix of synthetic rubber and other inorganic fillers. Can be used for basic chemicals, mild acids and alkalis, hot water and mild steam. Inlet manifold and auto transmission housing gaskets.

Neoprene

A very common synthetic rubber, It has good UV and saltwater resistance and reasonable oil and grease resistance. Wide variety of applications . Also available:- Nitrile, EPDM, Silicone.

Cork Jointing

This gasket material is a dense material suitable for industrial as well as automotive applications such as sump gaskets, and rocker cover gaskets.

Closed cell foam

Neoprene sponge material that is impervious to water and therefore forms an excellent seal. Used for weather strips and similar cabinet seals also auto lens seals and anti-dust strips. Thi material can be supplied with adhesive backing.

Expanded PTFE

Excellent chemical resistance and very compliant seal forming a dense and compressed gasket. Does not exhibit usual “cold flow” problems of virgin PTFE gaskets. Very good for fugitive emission control, also low bolt loading applications.

Viton “A”

A rubber with great chemical and solvent resistance, Very good fuel resistance and good tolerance of higher temperature. Viton has a great ability as a gasket in fuel lines. Viton is also available in closed cell sponge form.

CNAF (graphite)

Compressed non-asbestos fibre gasket sheet with graphite fibres and synthetic rubber with inorganic fillers Copes well at elevated temperature and in hostile chemical environments. Used for sealing hot oil systems
